How do I book a transfer with Crown City Transfers?
You can book directly through our website, by email, or by contacting our support team. Once booked, you’ll receive a confirmation email with all the journey details.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking as soon as your travel plans are confirmed. Booking early helps secure your preferred vehicle and time — especially during busy periods like weekends, holidays, and peak travel seasons.
Do you operate 24/7?
Yes. Our services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends and public holidays.
Waiting Times & Delays
How long will the driver wait?
For airport pickups, we include 30 minutes free waiting time from the time you selected the driver to be inside the terminl (standard free waiting time is included). For local pickups, a 15 minutes waiting time is also included. Additional waiting time may incur charges.
What “minutes after landing time” mens?
Minutes After Landing Time is the time a booker selected to be picked up from an Airport after the plane landed.
For example, suppose your flight is scheduled to arrive at 04:00 and you choose a pickup time of 60 minutes after landing. In that case, your driver will be ready to meet you at 05:00. The driver will then wait a further 30 minutes free of charge, until 05:30. After this period, a waiting fee will be applied.
As a recommendation, you can choose 45 to 60 minutes for international flights, but you are free to choose how many minutes it will take you to feel comfortable.
We recommend you contact your driver as soon as you switch on your phone after landing. This helps ensure a smooth pickup and allows your driver to assist you promptly if needed.
What if my flight is diverted or cancelled?
If your flight changes to another airport, please contact us immediately so we can assist and reschedule your transfer (subject to availability).

Do you monitor flight delays?

Where will the driver meet me at the airport?
Your driver will meet you at the airport’s designated meeting point, usually near the arrivals area, holding a sign with your name (standard meet & greet). Exact instructions are sent with your driver details closer to the travel date.
How early should I schedule my pickup time?
For international flights, we recommend scheduling your pickup to allow at least 3–4 hours before your flight departure, giving you plenty of time for check-in and security.
Pricing & Payment
Are your prices fixed?
Yes. We offer fixed quotes, which include all standard fees (luggage, waiting time, tolls, etc.), and are valid once the booking is confirmed.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept secure online payments via debit/credit card. Payment links are sent by email upon booking confirmation. Payment must be completed to secure your transfer.
Cancellations & Changes
If I need to cancel, will I get a refund?
Changes and cancellations can be made by contacting our team with your booking reference. Our cancellation policy will be included in your booking confirmation. Please note that pre-paid bookings can take up to 10 working days to be processed from the moment you inform us of a cancellation. It can then take up to a further 5 working days for the funds to be credited and reach your account. For assistance with refunds, please contact us.
If a booking is cancelled less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled pick-up time, there will be a cancellation fee applied, which depends on the time we were informed.
More than 24 hours before pick-up time = 5% charge applied (admin fee) / 95% refund
– Between 24h and 12h hours before pick-up time = 20% of journey price;
– Between 12h and 3h before pick-up time = 50% of journey price;
– Less then 3h before pick-up time = 100% of journey price.

What type of vehicles do you use?
Our fleet includes saloon cars, MPVs (for larger groups),8-seater and executive/comfort vehicles — all professionally maintained and fully licensed.
What about luggage allowance?
Luggage capacity depends on the vehicle selected. Please confirm the number of check-in and carry-on bags at the time of booking so we can assign the most suitable vehicle. Extra charges may apply if luggage exceeds what was booked.

Can I request child seats or booster seats?
Yes — child seats and booster seats can be included upon request. Please let us know the ages of the children at the time of booking so we can provide the correct seats.
Do children need seats by law?
UK regulations allow children to travel in private hire vehicles without child seats, but we always recommend using appropriate seats for safety, and we can supply them if requested.
Driver’s details
When will I receive my driver’s details and how will I recognise them?
You will receive your driver’s details (including their name, contact number, and vehicle information) approximately 12–24 hours before your scheduled pick-up time via email or WhatsApp.
For airport collections, your driver will monitor your flight arrival and he will be waiting in the designated arrivals area with a name board displaying the lead passenger’s name.
If you are being collected from a hotel or private address, your driver will arrive at the scheduled time and contact you directly upon arrival if needed.
We always provide a direct contact number for your driver on the day, so you can reach them easily if required.
